πβ€οΈπ Last week, as part of Reconciliation Week, we were privileged to welcome Uncle Ted from Jarara Cultural Centre to our school. Students engaged in meaningful conversations, listened to stories, and deepened their understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and the importance of reconciliation. It was a valuable opportunity to learn, reflect, and strengthen our commitment to walking together with respect, understanding, and unity. Year 4 have been exploring colour and blending techniques in Visual Arts as they experimented with creating beautiful blue gradient backgrounds π¨π Using different shades and smooth transitions, students then brought their artwork to life with vibrant poppies as the focal point πΊβ¨ Each piece showcased creativity, patience and a wonderful eye for detail.
